Your first anniversary is probably the single most special anniversary you will ever celebrate because it marks the beginning of a long marriage with your spouse. By the end of the first year of your relationship, both of you probably have a good idea of whether or not your relationship is going to last Friends and family of the celebrating couple are probably curous about this matter, and would like nothing more than to see them stay together for a  very long time. Poems are a great way to send your wishes to a new couple, and to give them confidence in their relatively new marriage. “Dear John,
Can it be, is it true?
The calendar makes it clear.
It's time for celebration,
Our anniversary…our first year!”

We hit it off so fast,

“Went to Noosa for our honeymoon,
Paradise by the sea.
Cocktail nights, long runs by day,
John, just you and me.”
